The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) released its monthly employment numbers. The BLS reports the U.S. added 517,000 jobs and the unemployment rate dropped to 3.4% in January. The average hourly earnings rose by 0.3%. Learn more about the recent BLS employment update below.
