What are the advantages of working with Brilliant compared to other staffing, recruiting or consulting firms?

We understand and can speak the language of technical accounting and information technology. We know the industry. We know the latest hiring trends. We do more in our candidate searches than just matching keywords from your job descriptions to keywords on our candidate’s resume. Our candidate interviews and matching process is driven by a true understanding of the candidate’s accounting experience. We know the right questions to clearly define the hiring company’s need and vet the candidate’s skillsets. As a result, the hiring companies we represent hire the right candidate – technically proficient to hit the ground running and able to fit in the company’s culture immediately.

What type of information would I need to provide Brilliant in order to get started?

When a client contacts Brilliant for a contract need, either an in-person meeting or a conference call is highly recommended. We will schedule time for the Recruiter and Business Development Manager to speak with the hiring manager. This is typically a 15 to 20-minute meeting or phone call which covers all information pertaining to the position. Once the initial discussion is complete, the recruiting team contacts all available candidates and qualifies the individuals based on the information we have gathered about the position. We qualify every candidate for each requirement or skill the job requires, as well as pay rate, permanent salary, if applicable, location, personality fit and education. After the recruiting team identifies the most qualified available individual, they discuss the background with the Business Development Manager as a final check for qualifications. Once that is complete, the Business Development Manager contacts the hiring manager via phone and/or email with a brief write up of the candidate’s skills, as well as the resume and bill rate for the individual.

What If I am dissatisfied with the consultant / professional provided by Brilliant?

If an assigned Brilliant employee is not meeting your expectations, Brilliant will terminate the employee after work hours on the day agreed upon by the client. Your assigned Brilliant contact will notify the candidate once they have completed the work day, and let them know that the project has ended. The candidate is told not to contact the client and will be asked to list any belongings they may still have at the office. Your Brilliant contact will pick up those items the following day on behalf of the candidate.

Brilliant provides you with a sixty (60) calendar day pro rata guarantee for all permanently hired candidates. If the hired candidate’s employment terminates for any reason other than reorganization, mass reduction of force, elimination of position, takeover, sale of business, insolvency, bankruptcy or material change in job responsibility within the aforementioned guarantee period, Brilliant will conduct a replacement search for the position at issue for no additional fee. In the event that Brilliant cannot locate a suitable replacement within a reasonable period of time, Brilliant will refund a pro rata portion of the fee paid, based on the number of days following the date of termination of employment up to the expiration of the aforementioned guarantee period.
