No matter if you’re filing as a business, individual, trust, estate or other, the federal government has extended the federal income tax filing deadline from April 15, 2021, to May 17, 2021, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Most states have followed suit and have extended the state tax filing deadlines to May 17, 2021, as well, while other have chosen to do away with state tax filings completely or have selected a different extension date.
