Continued Growth for the Staffing Firm Spurs Expansion into the West Suburban Illinois Labor Market
CHICAGO, Illinois (Jan. 3, 2017) — Brilliant™, an award-winning search, staffing and management resources firm specializing in accounting, finance and information technology, opened a new office in Downers Grove, Illinois, today.
The new space at 1431 Opus Place in Downers Grove, Illinois, marks the fourth location for Brilliant.
Since its inception, Brilliant has capitalized on its rapid success by entering new markets every few years. Starting with its headquarters in downtown Chicago in 2009, Brilliant then opened its Fort Lauderdale, Florida, space in early 2012—before later expanding into a bigger space in 2015—and its Schaumburg, Illinois, location in late 2012.
In September 2015, Brilliant created a Brilliant Financial Staffing division dedicated to the West Suburban Illinois labor market, specifically to provide its services to para-professionals in accounting operational support roles, and companies in need of hiring those individuals for their teams. This division worked out of the firm’s Schaumburg office up until the recent Downers Grove move.
Brilliant CEO Jim Wong, CPA (Inactive) explains, “We knew it was necessary to have a solid footprint in Downers Grove and the surrounding western suburbs due to the vast number of businesses with locations out there—let alone the ones in need of accounting, finance and information technology professionals.” He continues, “Since we are experts in providing the high-quality resources we know these teams need, it only made sense for us to open a location right in the thick of it.”
