CHICAGO, Illinois (September 8, 2015) — Brilliant™, a leading search, staffing and management resources firm specializing in the accounting, finance and IT professions, awarded two accountancy students from Northern Illinois University (NIU) a Brilliant Financial Search scholarship for the 2015-2016 academic year.
Kelly J. Ososky and Seth E. Points, both upper-level accountancy majors at NIU in DeKalb, Illinois, were selected as recipients of the annual scholarship award.
Each student will receive $2,000 for the coming school year.
“Thanks to [Brilliant’s] generosity, I am able to focus on maintaining a high level of academic achievement here at NIU. [Their] thoughtful display of support will help push me toward my goals of graduating with honors and becoming a CPA,” says Ososky.
Points adds, “I am honored and grateful to have been chosen as a recipient of the Brilliant Financial Search Accountancy Scholarship. [Brilliant’s] generosity will allow me to continue pursuing my goal of becoming a CPA.”
The scholarships were presented at the Beta Alpha Psi/Accountancy Alumni Awards Banquet in the Holmes Student Center on NIU’s campus, September 2, 2015.

Brilliant Practice Director Sagar Pandya, CPA (Inactive) presented the scholarship awards to the students. The scholarship recipients are selected by the NIU Accountancy Department Awards Committee and are based off of various academic criteria
