Barry has over 40 years of financial expertise, predominantly in public accounting, collaborating with middle-market and large global corporations. He recently concluded his distinguished career at Baker Tilly US, LLP, where he held various leadership positions and contributed to the firm’s Board of Partners. Before his tenure at Baker Tilly, Barry served as the Chief Financial Officer for a prominent distribution company, initiating his career at Arthur Andersen and eventually attaining the position of partner.
In addition to his corporate accomplishments, Barry has dedicated his time to various civic responsibilities. He served as a board member for the Lurie Children’s Hospital Foundation, actively participating in the Hospital Audit Committee. Furthermore, he contributed to the University of Nebraska School of Accountancy board. Presently, Barry is a board member at Clearbrook, having recently fulfilled his role as Board Chair. Additionally, he serves on the Board of the Alzheimer’s Association Illinois Chapter.
Residing in Chicago with his spouse of over 40 years, Barry is a proud father of three daughters and grandfather to three grandchildren. His leisure activities include quality time with family, playing tennis, and seizing opportunities to travel.
