This bilingual (English & Spanish) Senior Accountant with a dual bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Spanish is a proven performer for Brilliant. Expertise includes performing month/year-end close, preparing schedules, journal entries and automating process improvements for accounting. Industry experience includes brand merchandising and medical cannabis. Systems experience includes Sage Intacct, MS Dynamics and strong Excel.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Quickly promoted from AP Accountant to a Staff level role and to Senior Accountant/Supervisor
  • Educated staff on how to use their ERP system () effectively for sales and reporting
  • Completed vigorous testing within the ERP system from the beginning of the accounting cycle
  • Tested and ensured data was properly pulled in, files uploaded correctly and system communicating with other databases properly to maintain data integrity
  • Worked closely with IT developers to correct or improve any processes throughout these endeavors
