This multilingual (English, Ukrainian, Russian, Polish & German) Senior Accountant is a licensed Illinois Loan Originator. Recent experience includes handling the full month-end close process, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, journal entries and financial analysis. Industry experience includes transportation, logistics, nonprofit, manufacturing, building and construction. Systems experience includes Oracle, Salesforce, SharePoint, ADP, QuickBooks, SAGE and advanced Excel.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Managed all general accounting responsibilities including overseeing the month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, financial statement preparation and cash management
  • Assisted with the implementation of SAGE Intacct including entering new and existing vendors, uploading the trial balance and matching the general ledger numbers from one system to another
  • Worked with outside auditors and responded to audit requests
  • Assisted with HR responsibilities including payroll, workers compensation claims, audits and benefit plans
