Job Description:

Our client is looking for a .NET Developer. This person will be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, testing and implementing reports, dashboards and applications to support the business needs. The Developer/Analyst will participate in projects and work with other Customer Care and business associates to develop reports, applications or processes to meet those business needs. This position will also serve as the application “super user”, working with other teams to design and develop configuration, functionality, data repositories, and reports as needed in stand-alone and/or client-server environments. The .NET Developer role is a 6 month contract to hire role located in Lincolnshire, IL.

 

This client is involved in the development, manufacturing and sale of laboratory testing reagents and laboratory equipment; the development and sale of computer systems for medical institutions, as well as the development and sale of software used for clinical examination information systems. The company distributes its products in the domestic market and to the overseas markets including the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, China and Singapore.

 

.NET Developer Responsibilities:

  • Work with business users and other assigned associates to gather and document business requirements, analyze, design, develop and implement user friendly solutions (e.g., processes, reports, applications, etc.) for existing or new applications.    
  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.
  • Work closely with the appropriate IS/IT teams to ensure compliance with all Sysmex policies, procedures and technical best practices.
  • Provide day-to-day support for issues that affect the daily operation of assigned applications and their interfaces; resolve such issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop or participate in projects to address deficiencies in current processes and create functionality to improve the current processes.
  • Communicate work and project status as required.
  • Actively participate in cross training to develop a better understanding of the business, industry, databases and systems.
  • Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ISO documentation for all tasks directly related to this position.

 

.NET Developer Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience
  • Java/JavaScript (some web development)
  • .Net 3.5/4.0 (includes C)
  • SQL skills; SQL server, SQL queries, data access optimization, database objects creation and optimization, TSQL skills, data modeling on logical and physical levels, knowledge of ERD software, Visio, ER Studio, data warehousing
  • Experience with SAP, SNCS, Metrix, Customer Care Desktops, Evidence Based Calibration, Evidence Based Maintenance, SharePoint, Web applications, Insight, Business Intelligence (BI), Biztalk.
  • Experience in developing and implementing major projects
  • Experience with Thingworks
