Job Description:
Our client, a publicly traded distributor in the Northwest suburbs is in need of a Senior Treasury Analyst.  The need is immediate for a contract to hire basis.  The Senior Treasury Analyst will report to Senior Treasury Manager.  The Senior Treasury Analyst responsibilities and requirements are listed below:
 
SENIOR TREASURY ANALYST Responsibilities:
Determine Daily Cash Position for ALL COMPANIES (U.S., Canada, Europe) 
Ensure adequate funding of all disbursement accounts
Review, Monitor and Reconcile daily bank balance activities and cash balances
Report Daily Cash Balances to Management
Assist in accurate monthly bank account reconciliation
Evaluate bank account analysis statements
Monitor letters of credit and related collateral accounts
Provide support for cash forecasting activities, as needed
Maintain Weekly Cash Forecast
Provide Variance Analysis
Maintain a current listing of bank accounts, bank contacts, authorized signers, and online users
Execute and administer application of member payments through all receipt channels
Ensure accurate cash batch processing and application, reconcile bank receipts
Research and resolve discrepancies in a timely matter
Execute accurate payments to members via appropriate payment channels
Contribute to accurate member statement processing
Ensure FX contracts are executed in a timely manner and adhered to
Monitor and report on foreign exchange activities, as needed
Audit card transactions for policy compliance
 
SENIOR TREASURY ANALYST Requirements:
B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience in a corporate finance setting
5 years of experience in treasury, banking, finance or similar
Ability to analyze complex information and reach clear, concise conclusions
Effective at soliciting information and cooperation at all levels of the organization
Strong organizational skills coupled with the ability to manage multiple projects at same time  
Ability to organize complex data into easily understandable presentations
Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of completeness and accuracy
Customer-centric approach with the ability to work with accounting and finance functions
Proficient with business and financial software including other Microsoft applications 
Ability to generate new ideas and think independently
Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently
