Brilliant is seeking to hire a Financial Search Manager to support our Chicago branch of the business.
JOB PURPOSE: Provide leads, new contacts and references to find and develop accounts.
Source, qualify, screen, interview and maintain relationships with candidates who
possess the skills, credentials and experience relevant to the direct hire opportunity needs.
SUMMARY: The Financial Search Manager:
Researches various social media sites and our internal system daily to
compile lists of names of potential candidates or potential hiring companies/clients.
Contacts candidates in the core practice fields of accounting, finance, audit,
tax and treasury daily in order to build relationships and establish a need to search for a new career.
Requests meetings with potential candidates daily in order to formall
Interview them and establish a relationship and gain an understanding of
their career goals and specific job requirements.
Conducts in-person interviews daily with candidates to screen them for
technical competency in our core practice fields as well as gain an understanding of their short and long term career goals.
Contacts clients in the core practice fields daily to set a meeting at their
company to introduce our services and build a relationship.
Works with hiring companies/clients daily in order to understand the positions
that need to be filled on a permanent basis and develop a model for the right candidate for the role.
Negotiates fees with the client and establishes project timelines/goals.
Matches candidates with the client’s requirements and schedules interviews
with potential candidates and clients.
Prepares candidates and clients for in person interviews.
Debriefs clients and candidates after interviews to assess the fit between the
two parties and the viability of more meetings.
Schedules follow-up meetings for interviews for the client and candidate.
Negotiates the terms of the offer between the two parties and establish time lines for resignation and start date.
Establish regular follow-up between a Brilliant staff member and the two parties to ensure that objectives and goals have been met once the candidate has begun the new role.
Develops relationships with permanent search team members along with
members of the other teams.
Attends networking and company-sponsored events monthly in order to build
the company name as wells as develop personal connections with people in the finance, accounting or technology community.
A. BASIC EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelors Degree required, preferably in accounting, finance, economics or business leadership and/or management disciplines.
2. Five-plus years of progressive work experience is required.
3. Two-plus years of work experience in an agency or consulting services recruiting role preferred.
