The diverse Business Analyst/MBA/CPA is a financial leader with a broad range of experience in accounting and financial reporting, FP&A, systems implementation and shared services/BPO. Recent experience includes using project management methodologies to ensure high-quality deliverables and budgetary targets.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Supported the month-end financial consolidations process including the reconciliation of intercompany accounts and preparing workday four MoM variance analysis/commentary for management review and automating the workday five to workday seven bridge of revenues, assets and net operating income from Peoplesoft to OneStream
  • Performed financial reporting, tax return preparation, cash management and budgeting/strategic planning
  • Managed all accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, payroll, liquidity planning, bank relationship management and the close process to establish required policies, procedures and robust internal controls from the ground up
  • Hired, trained and led the accounting and FP&A teams to ensure all required processes were completed on time; drove continuous improvements by automating the account reconciliations process and by streamlining the close process
  • Led M&A finance team for a global expansion program to increase the firm’s International Revenues from $300M to $1B over five years
  • Worked on five major acquisitions; prepared valuation analyses, presentations and deal books for review and approval by the Company’s Board of Directors
  • Led the financial due diligence for acquisition candidates and developed the purchase accounting by working with valuation experts to determine the FMV of fixed assets and analyzing key balance sheet accounts to ensure short- and long-term assets and liabilities were stated in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Worked closely with her counterparts (of the acquired companies) to migrate their operations, policies, procedures and processes to the corporate environment to SAP; oversaw monthly consolidations process and implemented and managed an HFM implementation to reduce the month-end close cycle from seven days to three days
  • Worked closely with business unit finance leaders to prepare the base case strategic and operating plan and the plan for over 20 strategic initiatives, She developed an Excel model with indexing functionality that streamlined the planning process and  automatically updated when the timing of the strategic initiatives start date was changed in the model. She also developed variance analysis versus prior year and budget for the monthly actual operating results to incorporate commentary into the MDA distributed to C-Suite executives
