Finance Manager

This Finance Manager has proven success supporting the IT groups at several large companies. He’s been heavily involved in budget planning, tracking and expense analysis. He’s currently completing a project through Brilliant, where he’s received rave reviews on the quality of his work and professionalism. Recently, he created a supply chain savings initiative, and tracked and presented results to the leadership team. This professional has done everything including building from scratch operations and unit models, and rebuilding revenue models.   • Managed monthly reporting package for senior leadership’s review, which included monthly analysis and forecast preparation.

Controller

This Controller is a consultant from Brilliant’s Core Professional program. His experience includes financial reporting, financial analysis, system implementations, process improvement and consolidations. He is a master user of Excel and a Six Sigma, and recently led the implementation of Epicor ERP system, Great Plains and SAP. He’s also used Hyperion Essbase with an Excel add-in to design custom reports and custom reporting for month-end uploads. In addition, this professional uses SQL tools to pull data from disparate systems to create meaningful reports.

As an interim Controller, this professional was responsible for all accounting and financial activities of consolidated and individual companies. He re-engineered financial and managerial reporting portfolios which allowed management to utilize timely, reproducible and reconciled quantitative information. He often reviewed processes and proposed modifications for FASB accounting standards changes for revenue recognition and lease accounting. He also led the improvement in funds availability with the company's AR factoring partner allowing significant cash flow benefit, which added borrowing flexibility. He is skilled with systems including SAP (power user), Oracle, AS400, HFM and Excel (pivot tables and v-lookups). In each of his roles, he's been extremely hands-on in the execution of the daily responsibilities and clean-up efforts.
