Pat Sullivan, CPA
Pat oversees all areas of accounting, finance, human resources and information technology at Brilliant. With 30 years of experience, he runs the day-to-day accounting functions of accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and invoicing, and leads the financial statement preparation, forecasting/budgeting and strategic planning processes. Pat works closely with the Senior Management team in the areas of cash management, treasury, insurance and legal.
As the head of HR, he is in charge of new hire orientation, benefit plan enrollments and the 401k plan. He manages all aspects of IT as the central point of contact for support, and leads the reporting efforts, system implementations and ongoing system improvements. Pat is also involved in facility relocations and expansion efforts.
Prior to Brilliant, Pat worked in public accounting for a publicly-traded company in the areas of internal audit, financial planning, and as a Manager of Accounting and Finance. He followed by working at two private-equity owned third party logistics companies, as the VP Finance and CFO.
Pat graduated from DePaul University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and passed the Certified Public Accountant exam after graduation. He later went back to DePaul and earned a master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.
